June 27, 2009 - Goddess Gathering - Los Angeles

If you weren't at our June Gathering, you missed a good one! Our topic was "Create Your Goddess Life List". We expanded our vision of what is truly possible in our lives. I mean REALLY possible and created a list of what our "Goddess Life" would look like. This was a "no holds barred" exercise and the ladies were encouraged to think BIG! Thanks for thinking outside of your comfort zone and creating what I know will be amazing lives, ladies!

Our "empowerment" assignment was to complete our "Goddess Life List" and begin the practice of seeing (and thereby "being") the life of our dreams. Dream big, Goddesses!

I'd like to extend a special welcome to our new Goddess sisters. Thank you for knowing that you deserve to be loved, nurtured and supported and for joining this amazing group of women. We welcome your SHINE! : )

We've also begun a new tradition that I am growing very fond of - Goddess Gathering Happy Hour! After our Gathering, most of us meet for some more bonding (and eating and drinking) at the beautiful BLVD 16 bar/lounge at the Hotel Palomar. And let me tell you, the conversation definitely gets lively! Can I get an amen???

Childcare Now Available At The Goddess Gathering!

We are happy to announce that childcare is now provided at the Goddess Gathering.

We have secured a licensed childcare professional to take care of the children while the Gathering is taking place. Geney Warner from "Geney's Little Blessings, Curriculum Based Family & Child Care" will be taking care of the children in a room right next door to where the Gathering is taking place. They will receive a light snack and be entertained by such things as educational DVD's and/ or movie, story time, and game playing.

The cost is $20 per child. This will cover your child's care by the licensed professional, a snack and entertainment for the duration of the Gathering, (1:45 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.). Please note, there must be a minimum of 3 children to be able to provide this service. Goddess Moms may contact our Event Coordinator, Ailia Coley-McKinney, directly to reserve a spot for their child/children at events@tomikosgoddessgathering.com. Please be prepared to provide the name and age of each child and any special instructions or dietary needs.

A minimum of 3 children are needed to confirm Ms. Warner's services. We require all requests be received by July 18, 2009 for our July 25th Gathering.

Goddess Plans for 2009!

* This year, we are taking our show on the road! We will be working with women's organizations in our community and spreading the message of empowerment with these lovely ladies. If you know of an organization that we could meet with, please let us know.

* Tomiko will be hosting Gatherings in a city near you! Please let her know if you're interested in hosting a Gathering in your hometown. She will be sharing her unique and vibrant message of empowerment with women everywhere! Stay tuned for more details.

We have Gatherings in the works for Atlanta, Detroit, Michigan, New York, London & Montreal!!!!!

* We will be celebrating our 5-year Anniversary this November! Details about our celebration will be posted in months to come. Believe me, the Goddesses know how to party and you don't want to miss this one!

* Our Co-Ed Gatherings are in April and October. Be sure to ask that special man in your life to attend. You'll both be happy that he did.
