Welcome to the inside of my head!!!! My journal is a place where I let my thoughts off their leash and they get to run free. Unafraid of what others might think, feel, or say. Here I will be sharing with you everything that is important to me. That could be anything from the state of our beloved planet to my new favorite nail polish. Do your thoughts have a playground where they can let loose and be free? I invite you to "gift" yourself and your thoughts by keeping a journal. You never know what new and fun things you might find in there.Tomiko

Dancing on the Vibration of Joy!

2009-04-01

I had a great workout this morning. My trainer and I worked out in the park. It started out a bit cloudy, but the sun eventually came out. I loved being outside. The spring air grabbed hold of me and I was in heaven. I even stayed after my workout and walked around the park listening to one of my brother's hot mixes on my Ipod (he's a great DJ).

When I got home, I took a long, hot shower. AHHH! That was nice too. And instead of my usual cocoa butter lotion, I was in the mood for baby lotion. You know, the pink one that smells so yummy. Afterwards, I put on a tie-dyed sundress and placed a flower (a peach rose, fake, but still pretty) in my hair. I proceeded to clean my room while blasting some old school jams (Chaka Khan & Cameo), as well as some new favorites (Duffy). Then my sweety and I took a nap. We knocked out. Seriously.

I then proceeded to do some work on the computer. I did so gladly and at my own sweet pace. My husband and I had an agreed upon "stop" time (I have been known to spend 12 hours on the computer - I'm not kidding) and I met him upstairs for a dinner of tacos and ice cold Coronas. We watched one of our favorite shows, Lost, until it was time for bed.

I had a delicious day. The joy I feel about my life cannot be contained. The blessings keep coming in both small and large ways, and for that I am so grateful.

I lost my sister 2 weeks ago today. But her spirit lives on in me. Her message to us all (as it was delivered at her "Celebration of Life" service last Friday) was to LOVE BOLDLY. That's just what I'm doing. Living and loving life as boldly as I can.

I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. Maybe I'll go rollerskating....... : )
